Flight school

In flight school mode, you basically learn how to fly 3-channel and 4-channel rc planes. I strongly recommend you do flight school before you start playing; it's much better than learning with trial and error. The 3ch plane is the easy cruiser, while the 4ch plane is the pro cuiser. Both are very easy to fly.

Is it free?

In RC2, their are multiple game modes, but you have to buy a lot of them. The modes you do get for free are free flight and air racer. And in multiplayer you get free flight and air duel. The ones you have to buy have different prices, and there are a lot of them but the games really fun even if you don't buy them all. So to answer my question, I would say that RC2 is a freemium game where the game is free but you have to use money to unlock some things.

Tuscany

Tuscany is one of the 2 landscapes that you get for free. It is also where all of the flight school levels take place. It's a huge map (way bigger than the seaside). There are 5 cities with rc airstrips, and a landing strip on the lake. If you keep going north-east of the lake, you can "discover" a new city!

The modes in this map are free flight, air racer, birdcatcher, ww2 ops, VTOL, and roadrunner.

You get free flight and air racer for free, but you need to purchase the rest.
